Ok, NYC is awesome, but it REALLY needs to stop raining.

The show last night was UNREAL. I laughed so hard. I would recommend it, but it was pretty vulgar at some points. Yeah, um thats the type of show I DONT want to audition for. No Thanks. But it was incredible. I was outside the TRL MTV stuff last night. YAY.

I am really doing well. I am already adjusting alot faster than I thought I would. I have met alot of friends. I am done with my palcement, so thats good to have that out of the way.

The hardest thing for me to adjust to right now is, 1- I miss my family sooooo bad. I really wish they lived closer to me. And I miss all my freinds. 2- I am very much missing being in a school Bible school. I miss that instant bond. If I had come here right out of high school, It wouldnt be such a culture shock. However, after only one year at PBU, I have already forgotten what its like outside of a christian school. I have seen and heard so many shocking things. I truely miss PBU and Philly. In my heart I want to go back, but this has been my dream for so long. I want to fight.  I KNOW I will stay strong here. I trust that if the Lord will take care of me, and wont give me more than I can handle. Please keep me in your prayers.

OK, So my apartement is a total dump. Its entirely concrete and it is all moldy and gross. There are leeking pipes in the ceiling, the water runs bright red, the sink pipes are being held together by duck tape, and there are pigeon feathers on the floor. I have gotten lost twice. I almost ended up in Brooklyn or the Bronx or something last night. It is almost impossible to hail a cab when its raining. OMG!!! NEW YORK IS CRAZY.

But its really fun. I miss my family and all of you of course. I am going to see Dirty Rotten Scoundrels tommarow for free as part of my orientation. And I'm also going to Harlem to see the Apollo. I am having a blast. Its a BIG culture shock, and I feel SOOOOOO grimy and dirty. And Im hungrey and I cant afford to eat. Other than that, the school is sooooooooooooooooo INTENSE!!!!!!!!! But thats exactley why I came to New York. I know if I can outlast these upcoming trials I will make it. If I can do it now, I can do ANYTHING. And Im going to.

I have met some totally awesome people. The girl across the hall from me (danielle) Is totally awesome, we are hanging out ALL THE TIME. ( she reminds me alot of you heather!!!!!) And my roomate is from El Salvador, and she is a church goer, so we are gonna make sure we go even when were tired!! LOL. I have met more friends in the last couple days than I could EVER imagined I would have.

I would REALLY appreaciate someone coming to visit. I would love some kind of familiarity right about now. I'll give you my addy if you wanna come. My new Cell # is 973-975-8292.

OMGosh,  I dont even know where to begin. So much has been going down latley. So I'll try to sum it up for ya.

Ok, brand new job as a receptionist at an oil companys offices. I love it. It is seriously some of the nicest people Ive ever met. And I get to dress up for work. HECK YES I DO. I went to see "The exorcism of Emily Rose", and I wish I hadnt. It scared the heck out of me. I also saw "Red Eye", and that was really good. Ive been hanging out with alot of peeps latley. I actually went out with one of my Ex fiance's best friends......AKWARD, but fun. As you know, my birthday was the 20th. I am now 20 years old. I went to Canada with the rents, then I went out for pizza with Carissa and Tazia. It was seriously the most fun Ive had since I have been home. I dont think I have ever laughed so hard. While we were out at diner, this guy came over and started hitting on me, and he was totally cute but REALLY bizarre. And not in a good way. So we made up an excuse about having to leave, and when we got outside We were lauginh about it, and we diddnt realize the window was open. LOL. Turns out he diddnt hear us. Good thing... I would have felt really bad. I went to ladies night at the club (Elektra) on thursday, and it was off the chain. We had soooooo much fun. I seriously think I pulled every muscle I own. LOL. Next weekend Me and Carissa are having a HUGE party at her place for my B-day and going away combined. It is gonna be the party of the year. Ill update about it later on. Yesterday I went to the mall and spent EVERY PENNY of all my birthday money. I bought a napolean dynamite T shirt, ( Its Kip and it has the Technology song on it.) and a Bob Marley shirt, and some stuff from Charlotte Russe. And some Victoria Secret perfume. We had alot of fun. Keith showed up at my job with roses and then took me out and bought me a CD (The soundtrack to Gypsy...one of my favorite shows.) and some clothes at TJMAX. It was nice of him, but makes me wonder just how much he likes me. I try not to in any way lead him on, but hey,...what girl in her right mind turns down roses????? NOBODY!! So anyway, nothing deep or enlightening to update upon. I have seriously been partying and going out NON STOP, because this is my last couple weeks to be immature, cuz starting the 11th, its gonna be all work and no play. But this kinda work IS play for me, so dont worry about me, im gonna be loving it. I just wont have any time to go out and waste time. I have to work work WORK. LOVE IT:)

My brother is getting married on the 8th of next month, so prayer for that would be greatly appreciated. (Im singing "O mio babbino caro", just incase ya'll wanted to know.)

One more thing before I go, FUNNY STORY. So my friend Carissa had just gotten out of work, and she was sitting waiting for our friend Julia to meet her, cuz they were going out. All of a sudden this Hisidic (however you spell it) Jewish man pulls up to her and rolls down his window. He looks down at her and asked if she was working tonight. So Carissa was like..."you mean in the store?", and he was like "No, out here, Im looking for a girl for some nightlife." CAN YOU BELIEVE IT???? She was like,....."No Im waiting for my boyfriend", and then she ran away. Ha Ha Ha. How funny is that?? You really never know about people. LOL
